Alan Law is a multi-award winning photographer with many many accolades, including Rangefinder’s 30 Rising Stars (2014), Top 5 Wedding Photojournalists in the UK (MyMemory), Top 15 Wedding Photographers in the UK (Brides Magazine), the SLR Lounge’s ‘150 Best International Wedding Photographers 2016′. He’s won countless wedding photography awards, including a Fearless Award.
With all of that talent Alan could have turned his hand to anything but what he really loves is documentary wedding photography “capturing the real, un-posed natural moments of a wedding day”.
In 2017 this passion for documentary photography led Alan to found This is Reportage, to promote the meaning and power (and skill) of excellent documentary coverage and showcase the very best in documentary wedding photography. Showcasing the documentary work of over 600 members, This is Reportage serves as a community for documentary wedding photographers worldwide and shows the world the artistry and skill of reportage wedding photography.
No stranger to teaching Alan also runs his regular ‘Law School’ workshops for wedding photographers seeking to improve their creative documentary work.
