Every set of wedding photographs Shane produces has it’s own unique beauty, character and humour, it’s own set of emotions. They’re real stories of real lives in Ireland today with an honest beauty that makes you feel like you’re just read a Seamus Heaney poem.
Shane’s documentary photography is clearly influenced by the greats (Martin Parr, Bruce Gilden, Diane Arbus to name but a few) and by a lifelong love of photography. An international award winner (with countless Fearless Awards and Wedding Photojournalist Association Awards), Shane is also the current holder of the IPPVA’s Overall Wedding Photographer of the Year 2019 as well as Documentary Wedding Photographer of the Year 2019.
