Jay is back to Doc Day by popular demand! He is a national treasure. Through his Learning to Fly retreats and awards ceremonies, and the online TayHut (that’s as warm and comforting as it sounds) Jay balances running his wedding photography business with championing all us to do our best photography work. He’s a Yogi, a skateboarder, a barefooted business man, a proud family man and a football special connoisseur, a Fearless Award winner and the holder of every accolade the town of Muff has to offer. He’s also possibly one of the most empathetic photographers you will ever meet.

Jay doesn’t only take photos of Grannies at weddings but he has made a personal project of it. He created a body of work spanning years, produced a photobook and has recently exhibited his “Wedding Grannies’ for the first time. If you’ve managed to look through Wedding Grannies without shedding a little tear you may have a heart of stone.
