2026 Line Up

Tyler Wirken

We can guarantee you that at some point something you've learned that changed the way you shoot came, directly or indirectly, from Tyler Wirken. We've lost count of the references, thanks, nods to, "Tyler told me"s etc we've heard on this stage and in the break room conversations. And they're just the lessons people are aware came from him originally.

It's hard to imagine now that there was a time when "documentary"/"photojournalism" wasn't a widespread approach to wedding photography. But there was such a time and Tyler was one of the original leading forces in the change towards a more individualised authentic take on wedding photography.

Annie & Kevin Kheffache

Doc Day VI brings us full circle from that moment at 9.30 am on the 19th Feb 2019 and Annie's first time opening her mouth to say anything publicly about what wedding photography means to her.

5 Doc Days and 55 speakers later we think we've seen and heard it all until the next speaker stands up and blows us away.

John Dolan

If the fact that Martha Stewart wrote the foreword to his book (The Perfect imperfect) sets an expectation in your mind (is there anyone in the world unfamiliar with megabrand Martha Stewart Weddings?) the first act of John's book will turn that expectation on its head completely. Ten years into your career as a wedding photographer you think you can only dream of being surprised by a set of wedding photographs. Then you open John's book and question everything you ever thought you knew about wedding photos.

Janina Brocklesby

We love a new speaker here at Doc Day. The opportunity to take someone who's work is full of story and life and hear them tell their story for the first time is one that never gets old.

Although new to the stage, Janina is not new to Doc Day. She has been a leader of our photowalks Janina (who is one half of Reportage Studios) is already a beloved Doc Day team member.

Matt Badenoch

Matt and his wife Corina are such Doc Day family that the only Doc Day they've ever missed was Doc Day V when they started their own family and little Danny arrived a few weeks before the event. We have forgiven them ;)

A talented street photographer with a passion for teaching, when Matt isn't photographing weddings he's leading his own street photography workshops in his hometown London and all around the world through @streetwithmatt.

Susana Barbera

15 Years ago in its very first collections Susana was already winning Fearless awards for fantastic documentary work we'd be proud to enter in Collection 79! An especially impressive feat when you remember these photos came first, without all of the inspiration of the 14 years of documentary wedding photography we’ve been privileged to learn from since. This was reportage before a lot of us even realised you could do that at a wedding but also this was art. A marriage many of us still struggle to achieve. Susana has done it all with the effortless ease of an artist born to do it.
