You can tell from his photographs that Dan is very successful at blending in as a guest at a wedding, getting access to it all and adding to the fun without taking anything from his couples.
Dan's upbeat personality and big love for what he does shines through this beautiful, empathetic, perfectly timed and fully alive imagery. Dan is a great photojournalist with that most elusive of skills, an eye for humour. Once you become aware of Dan's love of street photography too, it all falls into place. Those “how did he see that?” moments are his reward for all that training on the streets hunting for photographs. What he did in one hour on the streets of Dublin at Doc Day II was a wonder to watch.
We'll be hanging on his every word when he finally gets his hour on stage.
