Els describes what she does, both in Weddings and Day in the Life sessions as, “telling stories in beautiful images”. Beautiful as this claim is we think it still sells Els short. These documentary images are more than just beautiful, they're arresting and unique. They're that one image in a collection of award winning images that make you stop and stare (her granny with tea in front of matching wallpaper might just be one of my favourite wedding photographs ever).
