The photo walks are for Doc Day 2025 tickets holders only.

The photo walks have become a big part of the Doc Day experience and this year we’re going to try out a different format.

The session is suitable for all levels, no experience required. It’s a relaxed vibe, not designed to be intense and it’s mostly an opportunity to meet some new faces as well as catch up with some old ones.

Tickets are free (but limited) and dished out on a first-come first-serve basis.

If you have a film camera, bring it along as one of the 4 mini-street groups will be geared towards film photography.

Street Photo Walk Masterclass

14.30 - 15.00 All photo-walkers meet in the Button Factory for a 30 minute street photography masterclass delivered by the photo walk team.

15.00 - 16.30 - Mini groups are formed and we go out and pound the pavement.

16.30 - 17.30 - Back to the button factory for a debrief and critique (time allowing).

Yes, bring a camera. No, don’t forget a raincoat.

Tickets are available on a first come first serve basis once you have a Doc Day ticket.
