Alan’s wedding photography is fun, joyful and exciting. He’s anti-cliché and pro-creativity as well as being an international, multi-award winning photographer, Alan is also the founder of ‘This is Reportage’, a community of some of the worlds best documentary photographers.
No stranger to teaching Alan also runs his regular ‘Law School’ workshops for wedding photographers seeking to improve their creative documentary work.
Shane O’Neill
Shane’s documentary photography is clearly influenced by the greats (Martin Parr, Bruce Gilden, Diane Arbus to name but a few) and by a lifelong love of photography.
An international award winner (with countless Fearless Awards and Wedding Photojournalist Association Awards), Shane is also the current holder of the IPPVA’s Overall Wedding Photographer of the Year 2019 as well as Documentary Wedding Photographer of the Year 2019.
Jay Doherty
Jay is a national treasure. He’s a Yogi, a skateboarder, a barefooted business man and probably one of the most empathetic photographers you will meet.
If you’ve managed to look through his self-published Wedding Grannies book without shedding a little tear you may have a heart of stone.

Annie and Kevin are your hosts for the day. Doc Day is their brain child, a result of two photographers living together spending far too many hours discussing how much they love photography and comparing favourites. “Oooh what if we had a conference all about documentary wedding photography and invited all of those favourites to come speak?”
